Find dental website prospects worth pitching
Start with a reproducible website observation. Not a claim that a practice is losing patients or needs a complete redesign.

Write a specific Client Brief
A useful brief names your service, buyer, location and scope. Start with work you can actually deliver.
Example Client Brief / Not submitted
I build and repair websites for independent dental practices in Texas with 5 to 50 staff. Find practices with observable navigation, page-title or image-label issues. I offer focused improvements, not mandatory full redesigns.
Company size and independence still need checking. A website issue alone does not confirm buying intent, budget or decision-making authority.
Check before you write
- 1. Compare page titles. Open Home, Services and Appointment pages. Record generic or duplicated browser titles. Suggest clearer labels without promising search rankings.
- 2. Inspect meaningful image labels. Look at informational images and image-based controls. Check their text alternatives. Decorative images may correctly have empty alternatives; do not flag every photograph.
- 3. Try the keyboard. Use Tab to move through navigation and appointment controls. Check visible focus and keyboard activation. Do not submit a form or book an appointment.
Keep the page URL, check date, affected element and reproduction steps. If you cannot reproduce an issue, leave it out.
These checks follow W3C WAI’s preliminary accessibility guidance. They are not a complete accessibility evaluation or a legal compliance finding.
5 fictional outreach examples
Every company below is invented. Locations, observations, Fit Notes and Openers illustrate the format, not researched businesses.

Fictional example / 01
Brightmolar Dental
Austin, Texas
- Illustrative observation
- The appointment control cannot be reached using Tab.
- Fit Note
- A focused keyboard-navigation repair could fit a designer who implements accessible websites.
- Opener / Use only after verifying
- On your appointment page, I couldn’t reach the booking control with a keyboard. Would a short repair outline help?
Fictional example / 02
Cedar Lantern Dentistry
San Antonio, Texas
- Illustrative observation
- An image-based appointment link has no text alternative describing its action.
- Fit Note
- A targeted accessibility improvement may be more appropriate than proposing a complete redesign.
- Opener / Use only after verifying
- Your image-based appointment link has no text alternative describing its action. I can outline a focused improvement if useful.
Fictional example / 03
Juniper Bay Dental
Houston, Texas
- Illustrative observation
- The Services and Appointment pages both use the browser title “Home.”
- Fit Note
- Distinct page titles are a concrete content-structure project, not evidence that the practice needs a new website.
- Opener / Use only after verifying
- Your services and appointment pages both have the browser title “Home.” Would you like a suggested title for each?
Fictional example / 04
Sunstone Grove Dentistry
Dallas, Texas
- Illustrative observation
- Keyboard focus is not visible on navigation links.
- Fit Note
- A designer comfortable testing interaction states could investigate the navigation without replacing the practice’s visual identity.
- Opener / Use only after verifying
- I couldn’t see which navigation link had keyboard focus. Would a small, style-matched fix be worth discussing?
Fictional example / 05
Prairie Lantern Dental
Fort Worth, Texas
- Illustrative observation
- The navigation opens with a mouse but not with the keyboard.
- Fit Note
- The issue suggests a specific navigation component to inspect, not a proven revenue problem.
- Opener / Use only after verifying
- Your navigation opened with my mouse but not my keyboard. I can share the steps I used to check it.
